Timothy D. Bozek II, of Pittston, passed away Saturday, May 6, 2023, at Allied Hospice, Wilkes-Barre. Born May 28, 1982, in Wilkes-Barre, he was the son of Timothy D. Bozek and Sandra Post Herman.
Tim was a 2001 graduate of James Madison High School, and was employed for many years at Daron Block, Ashley and Scranton.
Timothy was a specialist and served as a forward observer in Iraq with Bravo Company, 2nd Battalion, Fort Hood, Texas, during Operation Iraqi Freedom. He was a member of Tree of Life Christian Fellowship Church, Plymouth. Tim enjoyed kayaking and riding his ATV. He was preceded in death by his brother, Eric Michael Bozek
Surviving are his mother, Sandra Herman and her husband, Martin of Larksville; sons, Tyler Metzger Bozek and Jayden Matzger Bozek; sister, Jacquelyn Walsh; brother, Jevon Jay; and nieces and nephews, Michael Walsh IV, Julia Walsh, Ethan Walsh, Raven Bozek, and Rayn Bozek.
Funeral services with Military Honors will be held Monday at 9:30am in Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA. Viewing will be held Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00pm at the Jendrzejewski Funeral Home, 21 North Meade Street, Wilkes-Barre, PA.
We would like to thank the staff at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Hospital ER and Allied Services Hospice for their kind and compassionate care at the end of Tim's life journey. We would also like to thank the staff at the Veteran's Affairs Medical Center, Wilkes-Barre, for the outstanding care they provided him over the years.
In lieu of flowers, we ask donations be given to the Pennsylvania Wounded Warrior Program.
