Jane Catherine Emanski (Born Boop), passed away peacefully on January 21, 2022.
Born July 16, 1931, the only child of Catherine and Glenn Boop. She was a resident of Wilkes-Barre Township and lived alone after the passage of her husband, Thomas Stanley Emanski in 1994.
Surviving are her 2 children, Thomas and Carol Ann Emanski-Marronaro. Also 6 grandchildren, Thomas, Lauren, Christopher, and Madison Emanski, and Joseph and Victoria Marronaro.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 30th at 10:30am from the Jendrzejewski Funeral Home, 21 North Meade Street, Wilkes-Barre, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am at Our Lady of Hope parish, Park Avenue, Wilkes-Barre. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Maternity Cemetery, West Wyoming, where she will join her husband for eternity. Friends may call Friday evening from 5:00 to 8:00pm at the funeral home.
Andrew J. Martin, of Wilkes-Barre, passed away Easter Sunday, April 17, 2022, at Riverstreet Manor, Wilkes-Barre.Born September 3, 1940, in Wilkes-Barre, he was a son of the late Andrew and Anna Martin. Andrew was employed for over 30 years at Medico Industries,, Plains Township. He was an avid bowler, participating in many leagues throughout the valley. Andrew was a devout Catholic, attending and volunteering at St. Andrew Parish, Wilkes-Barre.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Alice Olejar, Helen Piontkowski, and Anna Churnetski; niece, Susan Churnetski; and nephew, Steven Olejar. Surviving are nieces and nephews, Andrea Bushelli and her husband, Randy, Deborah Skopek and her husband, David, Jeffery Piontkowski and his wife, Sue, Renee Hornlein and her husband, David, Ralph Piontkowski and his wife, Danielle, Bernice Churnetski, and Bernard Churnetski; also surviving is his good friend, Edward Marszalek and his wife, Shala of Harveys Lake.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, at 10:00am at St. Andrew Church, 316 Parrish Street, Wilkes-Barre. The Reverend Joseph Kearney will be Celebrant. Interment will follow in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Bear Creek.
