Joseph A. Sinavage

Joseph A. Sinavage, of Wilkes-Barre, passed away Wednesday, August 2, 2023 at his home.

Born August 30, 1955, in Wilkes-Barre, he was the son of the late Leo and Genevieve Grohowski Sinavage.

Joe was a 1972 graduate of G.A.R. Memorial High School, Wilkes-Barre, and Johnson Technical Institute, Scranton, with a degree in Carpentry.

He was employed at King's College for over twenty years until retirement.

Joe enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and watching Raider's Football. He loved music and good times at the family basement's "Snake Pit Bar".

He was preceded in death by his wife, Susan in 2009. Surviving is his son, Joseph L. Sinavage and his wife, Annette of Mountain Top; daughter, Amanda Sinavage of Hanover Township; grandchilden, Julia and Kayla Sinavage and Miya, Callie, and Johnny Sinavage; and sisters, Patricia Cataluffi of Hanover Township, and Arline Auker and her husband, Alan of Hanover Township.

As per Joe's wishes, there will be no viewing. All are welcome to attend a gathering at Rodano's, 53 Public Square, Wilkes-Barre, on Tuesday, August 15th from 5:00 to 8:00pm to celebrate one last time with Joe Sinavage. Casual attire requested.
