Deborah Ann Silvia

Deborah Ann Silvia, of Pittston, passed away Sunday, September 17, 2023, at The Gardens at Wyoming Valley, Wilkes-Barre. Born November 1, 1961, in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Geraldine Aleo Andrzejewski.

Debbie was a 1979 graduate of G.A.R. Memorial High School, Wilkes-Barre. She resided in Maryland from 2009 until 2020, when she relocated to Pittston to be close to family.

She was formerly employed in customer service at Lowe's Home Improvement.

Debbie will be remembered as a very kind and giving person, always placing others before herself. She had a special love for animals.

Deb was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be missed by her husband, Gary W. Silvia; son, Bruce Hanson and his wife, Charlene; 5 grandchildren; sisters, Colette Carey and her husband, Daniel of Wilkes-Barre, and Lorie Michaels and her husband, Marty of Wyoming; 3 Aunts, numerous nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 7:00pm at the Jendrzejewski Funeral Home, 21 North Meade Street Wilkes-Barre, PA 18702. The Reverend John S. Terry will be Celebrant. Family and friends may call Thursday evening from 4:00pm until time of services.
