David Nugent

David Nugent, 67, of Wilkes-Barre Township, A loving father, grandfather, brother-in-law, uncle, and friend passed away at home leaving behind a loving family.


He was the son of Sam and Virginia Nugent growing up in the Wilkes-Barre and Trevose, PA areas.


He was retired after working in the construction field as well as many local factories working as a supervisor and forklift driver.


Dave had many passions in life. Among them was being an avid remote control airplane enthusiast. He loved spending time at Moon Lake with his peers enjoying the sport. He belonged to the Wyoming Valley R/C Fliers for 35 years. He enjoyed spending time in the outdoors riding his UTV and meeting up with other riders from Georgetown. He also had a love for animals and spent many years caring for his 6 Chihuahuas as well as his Granddogs, Merlin and Rudy.


David loved spending time with his family, mainly his daughter, Nicole, whom he loved with all his heart. He was extremely elated when the apples of his eyes, his Grandson, Ollie, and Granddaughter, Presley, were born.


He held his brother-in-laws, Luke, Scot, and Kris in High regards and cared for his sister-in-law, Helen, as she held a special place in his life and his heart. He was a great friend to many and treated them like they were a part of his family.


David leaves behind his daughter, Nicole and her husband, Ryan; grandson, Ollie; granddaughter, Presley; brother-in-laws, Luke, Scot, and Kris and his wife, Tracy; sister-in-law, Helen; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.


Private funeral services were held by the Jendrzejewski Funeral Home, Wilkes-Barre.
