Ann Marie Pawlowski

Ann Marie Pawlowski of Wilkes-Barre Township, passed away Sunday, August 6, 2023, at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. Born May 23, 1948, in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of Dorothy Chverha Rusak of Ashley and the late Albert Rusak.

Ann Marie was a 1966 graduate of St. Leo High School, Ashley. She worked in the school cafeteria at St. Nicholas/St. Mary's Elementary school and was then employed as the housekeeper at St. Nicholas Church rectory until retiring. She was preceded in death by her brother, John Rusak.

Surviving is her husband, Edmund Pawlowski Jr., with whom she was married 53 years; son, Paul Pawlowski and his wife, Diane of Bear Creek Township; daughters, Marie Pawlowski of Archbald, PA, and Michelle Gryskewicz and her husband, Michael of Wilkes-Barre Township; grandchildren, Adam, Jacob, and Nicholas Pawlowski, and Sarah and James Gryskewicz; and brother, Thomas Rusak of Ashley, PA

Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family by the Jendrzejewski Funeral Home, Wilkes-Barre.
